Remember when you were a kid and you see something amazing, beautiful, or simply great, it would continue to have that majestic characteristic of it until what seemed to you as the end ot time(that is unless you get tired of it)? In those days, the statement “what you see is what you get” still is a fact, but when you reach the age wherein you have acquired enough wisdom to be able to analyze the turn-out of every action you perform, that is when your smiles get inverted…
This is what happened to me in my first opinions and predictions of what my life is to become in Philippine Science High…
Even before I had even passed NCE, there were already a lot of questions revolving in my mind. First of all was leaving my school.. the place where I practically grew up.. along with the people whom i had no clue how to live without; If I passed and decided to study in PSHS, will I be able to make a new set of friends when I had been so used to the ease of having a more than 20 people “barkada” even before the beginning of the school year? ;Secondly, if ever I pass would my grades be STRAIGHT UNO’S?? ;Third, if I failed what’s next?..
As I had entered the gates of PSHS for the very first time(interview), I had my mom’s hand in mine helping me take each step one at a time. Everything was simply great that day for I had my family with me, telling me that they will always be there walking by me in this journey through the new road that I have chosen to take..
On the first day of classes(orientation), I had asked a short-haired, kind-faced girl if ever she knew which line was for the freshmen for I had thought she was of a higher year level.. Turns out, she’s one of my CLASSMATES!! Her name was Clare, I consider her as my first friend in PSHS. We were togother almost the whole first day. The next one is when i found out that there really was a bianca malaluan in my school whom my mom has been bugging me about for like a month…. okay… the rest is just a simple blurrr to me for that was like months ago…all i remember is that almost every lt in math gives me a headache…..
